Occupation BME staff (retired)

In the mid 1990s, when BME was experiencing massive growth (and thus escalating operating costs, without any income), Gypsy Rogers (born April 3, 1972) offered free hosting at his domains (which is where the hostname came from). It could be argued that, without his support, BME would not have survived. Gypsy still occasionally does sysadmin work for BME.

Body Modifications

Gypsy has a nipple piercing as well as the tattoos below.

Sword of Freedom

"This sword is on my left bicep. It represents freedom to me, it represents strength, it represents independence to me. When I was seventeen, we did this tat with india ink and a home made gun made from a tape player motor. (This is not recommended, BTW). It was a turning point in my life, my claim of independence. About five years later, I was hitchhiking and was picked up by a guy who was driving from biker rally to biker rally in a school bus that has been converted to a tattoo shop. So he colored it."

Raven's Hands

"These are Raven's (my daughter) hands from when she was first born. I keep them safe on my chest. They were done by Shahn Anderson at Electric Dragonland in MN."
