Every experience story that is submitted to BMEZINE.COM must go through a review process by the BME Experience Review Team before it is posted to the website. Along the way, every essay is vetted according to the guidelines by a panel of volunteer reviewers, all IAM.BMEZINE members who choose to donate their time.

In 2005, 7,526 experience essays were approved and posted on BMEZINE.COM, and thousands more were rejected and sent back to their authors for editing and re-submission.
