Night of 1000 Scars was the long anticipated opening party for Dee Snyder's film Strangeland. It took place in 1998 in Webster Hall, located in the East Village, and was organized by Keith Alexander.
Many attendants expressed surprise and awe at the sheer scope of the event, which included performances by The Lizardman, TSD, Lolita Wolf, Kiva, and NeoSporic FleshMechanic. Of special note were The Lizardman's incredible fireshow, TSD's performance, which included a very early female suspension (that of Essie), and Lolita Wolf's surgically precise single tail display.
