Master Piercer is a title devised by Gauntlet for those piercers who had completed a significant amount of training with them and were considered highly skilled.
There are people out there who use this title even though they haven't received a Master Piercer certificate from Gauntlet, using it simply to mean that they are an experienced piercer.
