An Outer Labia Piercing is a piercing through the labia majora.

Outer labial piercings are a time-consuming piercing for most women to heal, as they pass through a great deal of tissue. Healing time is generally between 2-3 months.

Aftercare is similar for most piercings. Sea salt soaks twice a day and no swimming or sex until the piercing has healed. Bed linen and clothing should be changed regularly so as not to introduce bacteria to your piercing, and you should maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
