ModProm is a formal BME sponsored event organized by Rachel Larratt. The first ModProm event took place in 2004. The second ModProm took place on July 1, 2007 as the closing event for BMEfest. The third ModProm event took place June 28, 2008, coinciding with BMEfest 2008. There was a contest to win Shawn Porter as a prom date for the 2008 ModProm.
