Emma DeBurg

Emma DeBurg (sometimes spelled de Burgh), born Emma Kohl, a famous Tattooed lady, is considered one of tattooist Samuel O'Reilly's early masterpieces. Her work consisted mainly of large religious and patriotic motifs including a last supper Backpiece. She traveled America with her husband Frank DeBurg, who was also tattooed by Samuel O'Reilly. In May of 1887, she left for Europe and toured without her husband. She traveled in Europe until 1898.
