Aftercare
The term aftercare refers to the procedures you use to take care of a modification after it is performed. Aftercare can encompass several things: how you should clean the modification, with what, how often, and many other tips and tricks, all of which may be used to ensure a trouble-free healing of that particular modification. Good aftercare will maximize the modification's chances of healing as it should, but bad aftercare can guarantee a poor end result or even total failure.

It is important to note that there is no universal consensus on aftercare. Different practitioners may give totally different advice on the same modification, and both may be right. While there are plenty of "wrong" answers when it comes to aftercare, there is rarely a single "right" answer.
