Industrial piercing
this now common piercing was first popularized (and named) by Erik Dakota in Body Play magazine #4, where it was pictured and titled, "industrial ear project."

Daith Piercing
The Daith piercing was co-created in 1992 by Erik Dakota and a Jewish woman piercing client. The technique for this piercing is quite advanced, requires a specifically curved needle and was devised by Erik Dakota.

Rook Piercing
The piercing was first popularized and featured in Body Play #4, Dakota is said to have named this piercing after a shortened version of his own first name!

Apadydoe Piercing
The apadydoe piercing (first coined by Eric Dakota via Fakir Musafar's Body Play magazine) is an orbital ring passing through a crooked apadravya and an off-centre dydoe, as shown in the diagram. These are typically done in pairs. This would usually be done as separate piercings (ie. heal the apadravya and dydoe, and then put in a ring that's sized for the person's anatomy), rather than piercing it initially as an apadydoe.
