Marisa Kakoulas, formerly Marisa DiMattia, is a lawyer, writer, co-founder of Needled.com and creator of Needles and Sins. [1]

She has written for Inked Magazine, Skin & Ink, Glamour, Salon, Bust, Budget Travel and many others. She also wrote a legal column for BME.

She has written four books: "Black Tattoo Art," (September 2009), "Black & Grey Tattoo (September 2010), Color Tattoo Art (June 2011) and "Black Tattoo Art: Modern Expressions of the Tribal".
