Spider web tattoo
Spider web cutting

Spider web tattoos are old school, typically, jailhouse tattoos. It is typically located on the elbow of the wearer.

Meaning

Their meaning is widely varied but often the association with these tattoos is to the Aryan Brotherhood, a racist organization. One belief behind the spider web tattoo design is that for every year spent in prison the wearer would add another outer rung. If you see one these days, don't assume it means "killed a dude in prison" or anything like that. It has simply become a part of common tattoo iconography.
