Inner lip tattoos are tattoos done on the interior of the mouth on the lower lip. They are commonly tattooed with words or phrases and even small designs. The same can also be done inside of the upper lip.
Inner lip tattoos are almost exclusively done in black ink and is obviously restricted by the small area available to the design. It is not uncommon for there to be a great deal of fading varying from person to person and often the piece needs to be get a touch-up a few times before holding well.
