<p><b>Brace piercing</b> is a method of <a href="/index.php?title=Surface_Piercing" title="Surface Piercing">surface piercing</a> that's been briefly flirted with by a few piercers, but has not been experimented enough to say much about. The theory is that brace piercing works by using a <a href="/index.php?title=Scar" title="Scar">scar</a> or a small bar-style <a href="/index.php?title=Implants" title="Implants">implant</a> as a brace. The piercing is made <i>behind</i> this, working on the assumption that the brace will hold the piercing in place and stop <a href="/index.php?title=Migration" title="Migration">migration</a>.
