Shane Faulkner was a Toronto-based tattoo artist and the owner of King of Fools. King of Fools Tattoos was a private, appointment-based, custom tattoo studio.

Shane has been tattooing for nearly 20 years and works within the influences of many styles including Japanese, Renaissance-era, comic book and film-themed tattoos.

Shane went on to open the studio Tell Tale Heart Tattoo in Oakville, Ontario.

Shane also sang in the band Redeemer.

Shane and his partner Jovanka have 1 daughter, Violet.

On May 13, 2022, Shane passed away after a battle with cancer.

1st place winner of the 2005 STAR WARS celebration conventions BEST LARGE TATTOO, for his "Evolution of the Storm Trooper" sleeve.
1st place at the 2004 Quebec convention for BEST LARGE BLACK AND GREY TATTOO.
Featured on the new BLADE RUNNER ULTIMATE EDITION DVD COLLECTION, for his Blade Runner-themed sleeve on partner Jovanka Vuckovic, former Editor-in-Chief of horror publication - RUE MORGUE MAGAZINE.
Featured in the Star Wars coffee table book Forced in Flesh.
