Mike Wilson (aka The Illustrated Man) may be known to many of you due to his involvement in the Coney Island Side Show, and the New York Tattoo Society, as well as appearances in the book Modern Primitives, and movies and music videos. 90% of his body was tattooed. In 1986, he moved to New York from San Francisco because he couldn't find an artist who would tattoo his face. He died July 29th, 1996 from a head injury caused by a fall after a diabetic seizure. Some say he committed suicide, drinking himself to death.
