The frenum is relatively minor and removal rarely leads to complications, but the sublingual salivatory glands are sensitive and easy to damage. In addition, further back are a number of cranial nerves (inferior maxillary, lingual, hypoglossal, glossopharyngeal and internal laryngeal nerve are all somewhat present).

Mental Illness refers to medical conditions whose symptoms are believed (and generally accepted) to be related to an imbalance of chemicals in the brain. While the most common mental illness is probably Depression, there are many other recognized mental illness, such as Anorexia, Bulimia, bipolar disorder and others.
