A hot compress can help speed up the healing of your piercings. Your body will send blood to the area to help cool it down and will also breakdown any scabs or material that may be in your piercing and help drain it.
Fold up a clean washcloth and run it under the hottest water your hand can stand. Wring it out and gently place it on your piercing (after wringing it out it will be cooled to a comfy hot temp). Leave it there until it cools (around 10 minutes).
