Dan Kopka (born 18 March 1969) was one of the first piercers certified as a Master Piercer by Jim Ward and was responsible for most of the piercer training at Gauntlet NY. He got his start piercing at the Gauntlet LA, prior to moving to NYC, where he trained Keith Alexander, Lauren Pine, and a few others.

He came up with the name of the Lorum piercing along with Elayne Angel.

He passed away December 8, 2005.
