A stub is, briefly, an article that is shorter than it ought to be. Stubs have the potential to contain useful information but so far do not (much). See Wikipedia's page on stubs for more details.

Together, stubs and wanted pages are great places to start if you want to help improve the Encyclopedia. If you add enough new information to a stub page or find a sufficiently detailed article marked as a stub, remove the {{stub}} tag from the page to remove it from inclusion here.
