Deep PA

A Deep PA is essentially a Prince Albert Piercing done with a very large ring, so that the piercing is deeper down on the shaft rather than behind the glans on the underside of the penis. Alternately, the deep PA may be done using a barbell or labret stud.

Many men have this piercing performed in anticipation of stretching the piercing to a very large gauge, thus allowing room for the insertion of large gauge jewelry, or later using the fistula created by this piercing during healing as an anchor to prevent regrowth for a partial subincision.

While this piercing can be performed using standard piercing techniques, it is also often performed at a large initial gauge (perhaps as a scalpelled piercing) to allow the insertion of thicker jewelry right away.
